Meetings
The Buffalo Greens hold regular meetings to discuss party business, plan campaigns, and coordinate community outreach. All meetings are open to the public and new members are encouraged to attend.
Who We Are
The Buffalo Greens are the Green Party of Erie County. We are active in a wide range of community issues and campaigns. Our members have been involved in the Save Our Libraries campaign, advocating for the expansion of Metrorail public transit, fighting against the use of pesticides in public spaces, and working on brownfields cleanup and remediation.
We are committed to protecting the Great Lakes, opposing expansion of the Peace Bridge that threatens local neighborhoods, promoting organic food and sustainable agriculture, and building a more just and ecologically responsible community in Western New York.
FTAA Events
The Buffalo Greens have been active in opposing the Free Trade Area of the Americas (FTAA) and have organized and participated in events raising awareness about the impact of corporate-driven trade agreements on workers, the environment, and democratic governance.
